In response to the invasion of Ukraine, the Tantramar Immigration Support Team (TIST) represents our community’s desire to welcome immigrant families to the Tantramar region. We will provide support to these families and individuals as they settle in our community, such as translation services, access to religious services and institutions, financial support, and trauma assistance if necessary. We aim to help our new neighbours adjust to life in Canada by being a receptive and supportive community.
The Tantramar Immigration Support Team is a broadly based, voluntary alliance of organizations and individuals, formed to engage the people of Tantramar in welcoming immigrant families as new arrivals to our community.
